Upcoming in October
Fall is here and while the leaves are changing, here at Holt Heating & Plumbing, we remain as committed as ever to your service and the betterment of the community. Luckily, in October, we get to do both!
First, have you ever noticed that when one of our certified technicians visits your house, they always wear shoe covers on their feet? This is to maintain the cleanliness of your home. The shoe covers are made by ShuBee, a company committed to service and quality just as we are. We have something else in common, we are both seriously committed to breast cancer awareness and prevention. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to honor the work of researchers and the strength of survivors and fighters everywhere, our technicians will be wearing pink shoe covers.
So, this month, if you have one of our technicians visit your home, make sure you take a picture of them in their pink ShuBee shoe covers and post it on social media using the hashtag #CoveredForTheCause and tagging ShuBee on Facebook or Twitter. And please do the same for Holt Heating & Plumbing when posting #CoveredForTheCause posts on Facebook and Twitter. Let’s raise awareness and save some lives.
Breast cancer is a terrible disease that is very personal for us at Holt. Many people in our office have had friends or loved ones affected by breast cancer and it’s important to remember them and support them this time of year. That’s why many of us here at Holt are participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 29. Please join us in support or as a participant. Our team is the Pink Plumbers.
This is a wonderful time of year (it’s also an ideal time to have your furnace checked and have your home winterized) and it’s important to remember all those affected by breast cancer. We are proud to support organizations that are leading the fight. I hope you join us.
The work was done on my rental property in metro Des Moines while I live halfway across the country in Georgia. Yet even over this great distance, you treated me as if I lived there in Iowa. The furnace passed away. You came out late at night to confirm this and left space heaters with the folks renting my house. Yes, even late in the evening you all did this. The work was done well, and I believe the money was well spent. I currently live two days drive away or one day flight away from Des Moines. Yet, I took care of this complete matter over the telephone. Complete with pictures of the final job. How about that?Thomas Leonard
