INTRODUCTION

The Holt Full HVAC System Veteran Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is intended for legal residents of the state of Iowa and shall only be construed and evaluated according to applicable United States law and Iowa state law. Do not enter this Giveaway if you do not reside in Iowa or are otherwise ineligible to enter in accordance with these Official Rules. The Giveaway is sponsored by Holt, located at 1202 Thomas Beck Rd, Suite 101, Des Moines, Iowa 50315 (the “Sponsor”).

ELIGIBILITY

The Giveaway is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and who reside in Iowa. The nominated recipient must be a U.S. veteran and a homeowner within the Sponsor’s service area. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES

Participation in the Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

HOW TO ENTER

Eligible participants may enter the Giveaway from October 14, 2025 through November 11, 2025 (the “Giveaway Period”).

Name of the veteran
Description of their service
Why the veteran deserves a full HVAC system replacement

Limit one (1) nomination per person.

PRIZE

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize consists of:

A full HVAC system replacement (heating and cooling components)
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $15,000

Installation Conditions:

Recipient must be the homeowner.
System must be suitable for a standard residential installation.
No geothermal systems.
Sponsor will cover all necessary permitting.

The prize is non-transferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

The winner will be selected by a committee review of all eligible nominations submitted during the Giveaway Period.

The winner will be notified via phone and/or email on or around November 12, 2025. Installation will be scheduled for the week after Veterans Day or at the winner’s earliest convenience.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway. Sponsor is not responsible for technical issues, lost entries, or any errors that may occur in the administration of the Giveaway.

RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with participation in the Giveaway or the use or installation of the prize.

DISPUTES

All disputes arising from this Giveaway shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Iowa. Any legal actions, suits, or proceedings related to this Giveaway shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Iowa.

PRIVACY POLICY

Any personal information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used solely for administering the Giveaway and will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://holtplumbingandheating.com/privacy-policy/
