We are an authorized Ruud Pro Partner and offer state-of-the-art systems that take efficiency, comfort and innovation to the highest level.
Heat Pump Benefits
The biggest advantage of a heat pump is the combination of heating and cooling capacity. In cooling mode, the unit pulls heat from the living space and delivers it outside. In heating mode, operation reverses, drawing from ambient heat available in the outdoor air. The process is wonderfully energy efficient, environmentally responsible, clean and quiet. The system runs on electricity, avoiding the combustion process and associated byproducts.
Heat Pumps in Cooling Mode
A central air conditioner and heat pump operate identically in cooling mode. Both systems create a cooling effect by removing heat from the air by way of refrigeration. An air conditioner cannot reverse direction to provide heating. However, this option offers quick and effective cooling for larger homes and works to filter air contaminants. The initial purchase and installation is less expensive than a heat pump but running costs are normally higher.
